Greg Poss serves as the COO of Corpus.
He earned a BS in Finance and Accounting before establishing a successful career in the
corporate world, working first for Flowers Bakeries and later for Mitsui Corporation as VP of
Finance for Global Octanes, a petrochemical subsidiary in Houston, TX.
After 10 years in business, Greg felt called to ministry and earned a master’s degree from
Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. For seven years, he served bi-vocationally as church
administrator while maintaining fulltime employment. In 2000, he was called to a fulltime
position at a large church in the metro DC area of Virginia, where he served as Executive Pastor
for 15 years. In 2015, he moved to Winston-Salem, NC, to serve as the Executive Pastor of a large
church. Combined, Greg brings to Corpus more than 20 years of corporate experience and
20 years in ministry and has a great desire to see churches become healthy and growing bodies
of Christ in their communities.
Greg is originally from central Georgia, however, he became a Texan by marriage when he and his
wife, Terri, were married in 1987. They have two daughters who live in Florida and a son who lives
in South Carolina.
