Melanie Patton

Director of Materials Design & Development | Corpus Creative

Melanie Patton collaborates with ministry and organizational leaders and translators to create clear, effective support resources for church, education, and ministry leaders both domestically and globally. She enjoys project management and content development through graphic design and writing, as it allows her to combine art and creativity with math and organizational thinking.

Melanie received her bachelor’s degree from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at UNC-Chapel Hill (now UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media). She embarked on a career in advertising and corporate materials development, serving as marketing manager for an audio/video company, then as vice president of a small design firm in Greensboro, NC. While her children were young, she worked part-time as a freelance designer and as marketing support for her husband’s accounting firm. As Corpus’s first employee, she is grateful to be part of a supportive team that strives to equip leaders throughout varying denominations and ministry platforms with the skills and resources they need to carry out the message and mission of Jesus to their highest potential.

Melanie, her husband, Kevin, and their three young adult children call North Carolina “home.” They enjoy the proximity to the mountains and the coast, where they can enjoy time together and with friends outdoors.
