Chief Operating Officer
Greg Poss serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Corpus, bringing decades of leadership experience in both the corporate and ministry worlds.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting and began his career in the corporate sector with Flowers Industries and Mitsui Corporation. He later served as Corporate Controller and Director of Finance for Global Octanes Corporation, a Houston-based petrochemical subsidiary.
After ten years in business, Greg sensed a call to ministry and pursued theological training at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he earned his master’s degree. He served bi-vocationally as a church administrator for seven years while continuing full-time employment. In 2000, he accepted a full-time ministry role at a large church in Northern Virginia, where he served as Executive Pastor for 15 years. In 2015, he relocated to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, to serve as Executive Pastor of a large church.
With more than 20 years of corporate experience and over 25 years in ministry leadership, Greg offers a rare combination of financial expertise, organizational insight, and pastoral care. He is deeply committed to helping churches and faith-based organizations become healthy, mission-focused, and effective in reaching their communities.
Originally from Georgia, Greg became a Texan by marriage when he and his wife, Terri, were married in 1987. They have two married daughters, a son, and two grandchildren, and currently reside in the Palm Coast, Florida.
