Dr. Rob Peters launched Corpus in 2017. Rob is passionate about leadership and organizational development. He launched Corpus to help pastors and others in the non-profit sector learn the skills they need to successfully achieve their church or network’s vision.
Rob worked for Deloitte and Touché while attending college and Ernst and Young while earning his master’s degree. Rob served as an assistant to the senior pastor at what was the largest Protestant church in the evangelical world at the time, learning how global ministry is both envisioned and executed. Rob planted a church in Atlanta from 1995-2000.
Rob’s most joyful turnaround was revitalizing a church with 300 members into a church with over 3,000 members in Fort Lauderdale. Hiring, training and releasing more than 80 employees to oversee the church, a school and its global mission partnerships, Rob learned revitalization lessons in the trenches of church ministry. Vision clarity, strategic partnerships and developing people lie at the heart of Rob’s passion and focus.
Rob also served as the senior pastor of a large, multi-campus ministry in NC. Rob was tasked with the responsibility to redesign every aspect of the ministry. Rob aligned staff, changed the founding documents, modified the ministry philosophy, clarified the doctrinal position of the church, and cast a clear vision for the future including a multi-million dollar modification to 400,000 square feet of facilities spread across the three campuses.
Rob earned his BSBA in Accounting with a minor in Social Science and Business Law from Tennessee Tech University, an MDivBL from Southwestern and his Doctorate from Southeastern. Rob has worked in more than 20 countries across five continents with more than a dozen different denominations.
